Description: The Lead Photographer is responsible for overseeing the Norwescon photography department. Duties include recruiting photographers, working with photographers and other departments to set the at-con photography schedule, attend or arrange coverage of con-related events during the year, collecting and distributing con photographs, and managing the convention’s Flickr account. The Trainee position is intended for someone able and willing to train to take over the Lead Photographer position beginning with Norwescon 38.
Special Requirements: Ownership and operational knowledge of a DSLR camera.
Pre-convention commitment: Attending as many of the monthly planning meetings as possible, as well as attending (or arranging coverage of) other year-round con-related events.
