Lobby Tables

Norwescon offers Lobby Tables to clubs, groups, conventions, and organizations that promote science, science fiction, fantasy, costuming, and other fannish pursuits. This is an opportunity to share your enthusiasm with Norwescon members who have similar interests.

Guidelines

  • Groups and organizations attending Norwescon will receive a discount when 10 or more members register as a group. A full weekend membership at the group rate is $40 per person.
  • Requests will be weighted with preference to groups who will staff tables for the entire convention. Otherwise tables are assigned on a first-requested, first assigned basis.
  • Lobby table space is 3′×3′, half of a 6′ table. Full tables may be requested, and will be allocated if space is available.
  • Because Lobby Table space is limited, display items should fit on the table top, or behind the table. Please contact the Lobby Table Liaison if you have concerns about available space. We may be able to find a location that suits your needs.
  • No goods or services may be sold at the tables with the following exceptions:
    • Memberships.
    • Club, convention, or organization publications.
    • Fundraising items (pins, pens, ribbons, etc.).
    • Raffles and membership drawings.
  • Assigned Lobby Tables may be shared with other fannish groups. Tables may not be sold or sublet.
  • Please prepare to staff Lobby Tables throughout the convention. Lobby tables will be set and ready for you around noon, Thursday, March 28th until 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 31st. Expect to staff tables until 5:00 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Tables may be removed after 5:00 PM to accommodate convention programming or socializing.
