Monstarrs of Nerdcore
featuring Death*Star and Klopfenpop
Friday 4pm–6 pm
Grand 3

YES, THEY’RE RAPPING ABOUT VIDEOGAMES AND HOBBITS. Ensuring Seattle’s delightfully nerdy reputation won’t be forgotten, Norwescon favourites Death*Star and Klopfenpop team up for a two-hour showcase of weird, geeky hip-hop and nerdcore. It’s the kind of music we all would write, if we weren’t too introverted to speak in public.

Hello the Future
Friday 8pm
Evergreen 1&2

Nicole and her one-person band Hello, The Future! sings stories about the intersection of fandom and reality. She has performed at Dragon*Con, Philcon, Lunacon, InterventionCon, LosCon, and most other things with “con” at the end of them. She’ll sing about canoodling with Cthulhu, why Wash is the best character on Firefly, and how we didn’t have to stop drawing those giant robots. Get ready to rock out with your watch parts out.

Leannan Sidhe
Friday 9pm
Evergreen 1&2

Leannan Sidhe: Bittersweet Fairytale folk music.

Starlight
Friday 10pm
Evergreen 1&2

First-order guitar-driven rock-flavoured filk.

Saturday

Open Mic Session
Saturday 7pm
Evergreen 1&2

Sign up at information, or just show up when we start. Two songs or ten minutes, whichever is shorter!

HeyLasFas
Saturday 8pm
Evergreen 1&2

HeyLasFas: Armed with Microsoft Paint and a few other virtual studio software packages, a lone magician decides to compose music about Princess Luna, Trixie, and Rarity.

Alexander James Adams
Saturday 9pm
Evergreen 1&2

Alexander James Adams: The Faerie Tale Minstrel comes with stories and songs of Fae and fantasy. Fall under the spell of magic and music where anything is possible.

Molly Lewis (with special guests Vixy & Tony)
Saturday 10pm
Evergreen 1&2

Molly Lewis: She’s not a celebrity, but she plays one on the internet. She also plays ukulele (among other things), and sings. Norwescon filk heros Vixy & Tony will be backing her up on stage here at nwcMUSIC.
