This year games at Norwescon 45 are being organized and hosted by Dragonflight GameCon.

Games will be located in three main spaces in the hotel: Maxi’s Level, Rotunda floor 1, and Rotunda floor 2.

Tables for Open Games will be located primarily in Maxi’s Ballroom, at the top of the tower. Take the elevators near the rear entrance to the hotel lobby to the top floor. The Maxi’s ballroom is located behind Maxi’s Lounge.

Open Games

In the ballroom you will find the Dragonflight GameCon Game Lending Library as well as the Alexandria RPG Library.

Dragonflight GameCon is a local, non-profit tabletop gaming convention that takes place each August in Bellevue, WA. They are bringing a small portion of their extensive game library to Norwescon. To check out a game you will need a Norwescon badge and a driver’s license or state ID. Their game selection has options for everyone, even down to the youngest gamers. Come up to Maxi’s and play an old favorite or discover something completely new!

The Alexandria RPG Library is a non-profit roleplaying game library that travels to events sharing the history of RPGs as well as providing Game Masters and supplies to run games. Between events we game with at-risk teens, veterans with PTSD, and more. They not only save old games from obscurity but give them new life with new gamers! You can find any RPG ever written, almost! Come run a game with your friends or other attendees.

Scheduled Games

The game schedule is now live! We will be adding new games as we go, so please check at the convention for the most current list of games.

Tables for scheduled games will be located on the first and second floors of the Rotunda, found at the far end of Concourse 1 and Concourse 2, the hallways on either side of the swimming pool, as well as in the Salon on the same level of the tower as Maxi’s Ballroom. Complete game schedules will be available on both levels of the rotunda and posted outside the Salon. The game schedule will also be available in the Guidebook app.

If you are interested in running a game at Norwescon 45, please fill out the GM Game Submission form. Once submitted your games will be reviewed and then added to our Games at Norwescon 45 event on Warhorn. If you have questions about the submission form or using Warhorn please email games@norwescon.org.

Sign Up to Play

Player sign up for Scheduled Games is open! To sign-up to play in a game, you will need to register on Warhorn. Online sign-ups will be available until April 4. After that you can sign-up in person at the convention.

Organized Play

If you are interested in participating in organized play, we will have Pathfinder Society, Starfinder Society, and Dungeons & Dragons.

Pathfinder Society and Starfinder Society games at Norwescon are brought to you by the Emerald City Lodge for Paizo Organized Play. We support local conventions and play regularly in various locations around the greater Seattle metropolitan area. All are welcome, no experience necessary! You can reach us on our Discord server.

Pathfinder Society (second edition) is a worldwide fantasy roleplaying campaign set in the world of Golarion during the Age of Lost Omens. As agents of the Pathfinder Society, a legendary league of explorers, archaeologists, and adventurers headquartered in Absalom, you dedicate your life to discovering and chronicling the greatest mysteries and wonders of an ancient world. Pathfinder adventures range from exploring the dark alleys to engaging in political intrigues to embarking on far-flung travels to exciting locales. Pathfinder Society (second edition) uses Paizo’s Pathfinder Second Edition Roleplaying Game ruleset.

Starfinder Society is a worldwide science fantasy roleplaying campaign set in the Starfinder universe. As an agent of the Starfinder Society, an organization of explorers, archaeologists, and adventurers headquartered in the Lorespire Complex of Absalom Station, you dedicate your time to discovering and chronicling all corners of the galaxy (and beyond). Starfinder adventures range from exploring unknown worlds and star systems to undertaking covert assignments within the bowels of the Pact World’s largest metropolises. Starfinder Society uses Paizo’s Starfinder Roleplaying Game ruleset.

Dungeons and Dragons is running at Norwescon! To show our support for the TTRPG community, we are encouraging our DMs to use 3rd party monsters, modules, and more! With lots of fresh, fun adventure types, from big bad boss fights to RP-heavy mysteries, and a table designed to welcome new players, we have a new adventure for everyone.

Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator

Artemis is a spaceship bridge simulator where players assume the jobs of captains, helm, science, communication, engineering, and weapons and work together to defeat alien enemies.

Rotunda 2: Saturday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Gaming Code of Conduct

We follow Wheaton’s Law.

All Norwescon policies and procedures apply, including the code of conduct, weapons policy, accessibility policy, and photography guidelines.

The three accessible games tables in Maxi’s Ballroom may be used for walk-up games, however, if you use these tables you may be asked to move to make space for members with accessibility needs. GMs may also be asked to move their game to an accessible table. Thank you for your cooperation.

We also ask that folks be sure to clean up after yourself and keep all game books, boxes, and such out of the aisles to make the space more accessible.

Please clean up after yourself. Our Games staff is made of volunteers. Please treat them with respect and follow their instructions. Those who do not follow these guidelines may be asked to leave and not return.
