Gordon Van Gelder, administrator for the Philip K. Dick Award, has put several science fiction and fantasy books up for auction on eBay, including several first editions and signed editions (and some signed first editions), as a benefit for the award’s administrative fees. The Philip K. Dick Award, of course, is an annual award presented to distinguished science fiction books published for the first time in the United States as a paperback original, with the award ceremony held each year at Norwescon. This year’s nominees have just been announced, and the winner will be announced at the ceremony in the evening of Friday, March 30th, during Norwescon 41.

We encourage you to check out the book auction on eBay and help the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society, the Northwest Science Fiction Society, and Norwescon continue to support the award and the authors it recognizes. Better hurry, the auctions all end next Sunday evening (Jan. 21)!
