How to Create a New Username and Password in the Norwescon Registration Kiosk

STEP 1: Go to the Registration Kiosk

  • From the Norwescon.org home page, click the button to Register for Norwescon 43!, or just go right there from here (this link will open in a new tab so you can follow along with these instructions).

  • Alternatively, paste the link to the Registration Kiosk in your browser: https://cm.norwescon.org/kiosk/web_reg/
  • You should see the following WELCOME SCREEN:

STEP 2: New User or Reset Password

  • NEW MEMBERS: If you are a new user, select the [REGISTER NEW USER] link. (Skip to Step 3)
  • EXISTING MEMBERS:
    • If you have already set-up your username and password, you can login and follow the screens as usual.
      OR
    • If you are an existing member, but you have not yet set up your username and password (NOTE: this is different from the name and security question system used in previous years), then select the [RESET PASSWORD] link.
  • Each of the above selections will take you to the following screen:

  • Enter your email address and click [NEXT].
  • An email will be sent to that address with a link to either reset your existing account and/or to create your new username and password.
  • You will see the following confirmation screen when the email has been sent:

STEP 3: Check Your Email

  • Those who selected [REGISTER NEW USER] should receive an email from Norwescon Registration (similar to that shown here), containing a button to [PROCEED WITH ACCOUNT CREATION]:

  • Click the big blue button to [PROCEED WITH ACCOUNT CREATION] – you will be taken to a screen similar to that shown here:

  • From here you can enter your own details to create your account and select a Username and Password.
  • For those who selected [RESET PASSWORD], you should receive an email from Norwescon Registration (similar to that shown here) containing a link or links marked CLICK TO RESET THIS ACCOUNT:

  • Click the link next to the appropriate Member Name.
  • If your name does not appear, contact a member of the Norwescon Registration or IT teams.
    NOTE: If you have more than one member registration associated to that email account, you will receive an email for each member registered under that email address. Each email will contain links to reset the usernames/passwords for each user associated to that email account. Each account will have to be reset individually, as we do not have the option to update usernames/passwords in batches.
    PLEASE NOTE that it is preferred for all users to have their membership registration associated with a separate individual email account, as this will help Norwescon verify members with active registrations who are eligible to attend Norwescon 43 virtually.
  • Once you click the reset link from your email, the following (or similar) screen should open in your browser:Username and password creation screenshot
  • From here you can reset your account by selecting your new Username and Password.

STEP 4: Check and Update Your Registration Information

  • Once you’ve created your new username and password, you can progress through the registration screens to confirm or make updates to your information and update your individual details and selections.
  • NAME AND BADGE NAME: Check your name and badge name. If correct click Continue or update as needed.

  • YOUR INFORMATION: Confirm contact details, address, emergency contact, and email preferences.
  • NWC 43 AGREEMENT: Read and review the policies and guidelines and click to agree to the terms of member conduct.

  • MEMBERSHIP TYPE: Confirm your membership type (4 DAY MEMBERSHIP = REGULAR ADULT MEMBERSHIP, YOUTH, CHILD) by selecting the corresponding button below the membership type you want.
  • BADGE LAYOUT: Select your preferred layout for your badge. Yes, we’ll have badges! 😊
  • SHOPPING CART:
    • Review your Shopping Cart items.
    • Your cart should automatically include your membership type for Norwescon 43 (see example image below).
    • Add any additional items from the available items list—don’t miss our Guest of Honor Tea Party option—by selecting your desired quantities on the left and click [STEP 1 – ADD SELECTED ITEMS TO CART]
    • When your selections are complete, click [STEP 2 – DONE SHOPPING].

  • PAYMENT: Complete payments steps if required/applicable for additional items added to your cart.
  • FINISHED!
    Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email to the address listed in your contact information section.
