Swag Bag Advertising
Swag bags are distributed to our attendees when they pick up their badges. To place fliers or promotional items in the bags, items must be of interest to our membership (for example, having to do with science fiction, fantasy, science, or other areas of fan life). The Norwescon Chair has final say as to what can be included.
If you want to contribute items to our at-con membership swag bags, we ask that you provide 3,000 (the number of bags we stuff) pieces of whatever you want to place in the bags. They can be just about anything that will fit in a standard grocery bag, (buttons, bookmarks, business cards, postcards and flyers up to 8.5 x 11.
We don’t charge for this, but all pieces must be pre-approved by the Chair. (There are children attending and we have received not-appropriate-for-children items submitted in the past.) Please email publications@norwescon.org or chair@norwescon.org with what you would like to submit so we can review your items and let you know if they are acceptable.
We have a special delivery address for items that are going into the swag bags and ask that you don’t send those items until late March at the earliest. Alternatively, you are encouraged to bring the items directly to the convention hotel on the day of our stuffing party, Sunday, April 14th.
