Staff and Volunteer Info
Volunteers are the backbone of the convention, from those of us who donate our time year round to those of you who lend a much needed helping hand for a couple of hours at the Convention. Whether that be watching the doors at the Masquerade, helping out at the Registration Desk, or manning the Cloak Closet, we need that help. If you are interested in volunteering please email volunteers at norwescon dot net
Are you planning on volunteering for Registration or working on the Registration Staff this year? Now is your opportunity to learn how to use the Registration Application that we use. On Sunday, March 1st, from noon to 5pm at the Double Tree Hotel, the Norwescon IT Staff will holding a training session for Registration Staff and Volunteers. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail it at norwescon dot net
Meetings
Meetings are
typically held at
the Doubletree
Seattle Airport.
When you arrive at
the hotel, check the
daily events board
to find out what
meeting room we are
in. For directions to the Doubletree see the hotel page. Typical Meeting Timeline:
Executive Team -
11 AM to 1:30 PM
Break - 1:30 to
2 PM
ConCom - 2 to
2:45 PM
Breakouts - 2:45
to 4 PM
Reconvene ConCom - 4
PM to finish.
Once we adjourn
we will have an
after meeting
social. The
place will be
posted on the
website, and
directions will
be available at
the meeting.
Our discounted parking rate this year is $8.00. Bring your ticket to the meeting to get it scanned so that you will get the discounted rate when you leave. |
