We’ve been keeping an eye out to see what all of you lovely people have been saying about Norwescon 39 since we wrapped things up — here’s a rundown of what we’ve found so far. If you know of something we missed, feel free to let us know in the comments!
Would you like to help plan, organize, and create the Pacific Northwest’s premier science-fiction and fantasy convention? April’s Norwescon 39 post-con meeting will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016.
Norwescon 40 will be held April 13–16, 2017; our Artist Guests of Honor will be Cory and Catska Ench, and our Spotlight Publisher will be Angry Robot Books, represented by Mike Underwood and Marc Gascoigne.
If you couldn’t make it to this year’s Philip K. Dick Award ceremony on Friday night of this year’s convention, we have uploaded video of the ceremony to our YouTube account.
It was announced on Friday, March 29, at Norwescon 39, in SeaTac, Washington, that the winner for the distinguished original science fiction paperback published for the first time during 2015 in the U.S.A. is APEX by Ramez Naam (Angry Robot Books). Special citation was given to ARCHANGEL by Marguerite Reed (Arche Press).
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have unfortunately had to cancel the Norwescon video chanel. There’s more fun to be had in the programming space. 🙂

As of this morning, pre-registration for Norwescon 39 has closed. Full-weekend (four-day) memberships will be available at the convention for $75.

This year, the fashion show at Norwescon 39 will be a showcase of horror haute couture. The call is going out to all dark denizen designers of the night, to leave their crypts and castles and come stalk our runway. Show us your dark passion for fashion, and the pleasure of leather!
