We have received some updated information from the hotel, and in short: The hotel likely won’t be as crowded as we feared, but other lots are quite crowded. Please plan accordingly!

Our lineup of ConCom (convention committee) meeting dates for Norwescon 41 have just been posted on our Volunteers page. Our monthly ConCom meetings are the best way to peel back the curtain and become an active part of producing Norwescon! We’re always looking for more volunteers, and would be happy to have you as part of the team.
Securely store and correctly return to the appropriate person anything (within reason) stored by members of the convention.
Assists with food preparation, serving, and clean-up for our pros, assists with pre-con menu planning and food ordering as needed.
Works shifts in the Green Room to assist pros and their guests with check-in.
The Lead Photographer is responsible for overseeing the Norwescon photography department. The Trainee position is intended for someone able and willing to train to take over the Lead Photographer position beginning with Norwescon 38.
Assist with setup, maintenance, and running the lazer tag events.
Update and maintain various content in our online scheduling aid (Guidebook).
Edits Publications materials according to the rules in the Norwescon Style Guide.
Develops the layout of the Daily ‘Zine, solicits content for the Daily ‘Zine prior to the convention and during the convention.
Create, organize, edit, and publish design elements for the current and future convention year.
Sets up, maintains, staffs, and breaks down the Art Show bag check area at con.
Must be personable and friendly. Provides a personal touch to information.
Fill quart ziplock bags with candy to be used to fill designated Easter baskets that are to be delivered each morning by 8am to specified hotel designations.
Must have a pleasant, patient, and understanding disposition along with a good sense of humor. What is overheard by staff within the office, shall remain in the office – not a place for gossip.
