Norwescon had a good year this year. Thanks to the popularity of our GoHs, we drew in a large number of new members, while still keeping costs under control. We ended with a surplus, which goes into our reserves to be used for years when we run at a loss.

The winner for the distinguished original science fiction paperback published for the first time during 2013 in the U.S.A. is COUNTDOWN CITY by Ben H. Winters (Quirk Books). Special citation was given to SELF-REFERENCE ENGINE by Toh EnJoe, translated by Terry Gallagher (Haikasoru).

Special citation was given to LOVESTAR by Andri Snær Magnason (Seven Stories Press).
