His work provokes imagination by exploring philosophy, psychology, spirituality, geometry, anatomy, and the cosmos.

Belsac has been carving leather for over 30 years. His art explores the imagery of the past with a focus on early Britain. Belsac creates original designs incorporating ancient symbols and images found in jewelry, carvings, and manuscripts, including those of Celtic, Norse, and Anglo-Saxon styles . He is best known for his Homicidal Rabbit series.
Betsy Mott
After nine years of college and two master’s degrees (English literature and theatre), Betsy Mott became a professional artist. For over 40 years, her techno drawings, cosmic, mystic, and fantasy paintings have shown at science fiction art shows country-wide. Her work appears on the Landmark, Great Warrior, and Great Space Ships series of published note cards; on CDs, webzines, books, and websites; and in personal collections worldwide. She is part-owner of The Corner Door Fountain and Books in historic downtown Millwood, Washington. Blane Bellerud
Braden Duncan (aka Clockwork Art) is a full-time artist and animal rescue advocate based in Seattle, WA. Braden’s work combines a love of pop culture, mythology, mysticism, the macabre, steampunk, cybernetics, and the natural world. Her cats are her main models, and she uses all traditional media (primarily watercolor). Braden is the exhibitor coordinator for Sea-Meow Con (Seattle’s premier cat convention) and helps raise funds and awareness for animals and humans in need. Brett Bullion is a fantasy/dark fantasy artist currently living in the lovely little city of Poulsbo, Washington. He creates illustrations for himself, tabletop role-playing games, and fantasy novels, most recently for Mike Shel’s deluxe edition rereleases of his Iconoclasts trilogy. Many of his inspirations come from nature, fantasy, and horror as well as books, folklore, mythology, and games. He hopes to inspire others in the same way so many creatives have inspired him.
Brittany is a paper artist known for combining layered paper and light into shadow box sculptures that she calls Oneiroframes. Based in Seattle, Washington, since 2012, she made her first paper sculpture in 2016. She has since further developed her own techniques of cutting and layering paper and light to create her own unique and illustrative voice. Each line is painstakingly hand-cut with a blade. Her work is influenced by her love of fantasy, biology, and struggles with mental health. She creates transformative, dreamlike portals that draw the viewer in to expressive worlds that shine brightest when surrounded by darkness.
A Pacific Northwest artist, Camille Meehan spent much of her life exploring the wooded islands of Puget Sound. That time carried over into her work, which shows a love of nature and rich textured environments full of dynamic magical creatures. Currently deep in her “Unicorn Period,” Camille is motivated by her family’s love of unicorns, creating unorthodox representations of the much-beloved equine. In addition to being a fantasy painter, Camille is a 3D environment artist for games. In 2025, she worked for Mob Entertainment, best known for its work on the popular Poppy Playtime horror series.
Chelsea is an independent artist from Orcas Island who has been illustrating professionally since 2012. She is inspired by the worlds of fantasy, science fiction, and ancient mythology. She is the creator of The Lost Forest tarot, and her latest artistic venture is handmade, one-of-a-kind, fully articulated art dolls of nature spirits.
Christy is a self-taught professional artist well known for her anthropomorphic animal characters and unique whimsical style. She works mainly with a mixed-media technique of watercolors and colored pencils, but also creates vivid and detailed acrylic paintings. Christy has been licensed with several companies—including Leanin’ Tree cards—has had her work used in television, and has been published in numerous magazines and articles. Her work is also quite well known across the internet, and she has been awarded many times in various art shows. She currently lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Cindy Fangour
Cody Vrosh is a watercolor artist and illustrator based in California, fusing science fiction and fantasy elements with bold characters and playful creatures to create unique speculative illustrations. He is the creator of Coffee Creatures and Teeth Creatures. His work includes art for Sideshow Collectibles, American Gothic Press (an imprint of Famous Monsters of Filmland), and Printed in Blood. Cody’s current project is Little Satellites, a collection of paintings of lost astronauts traveling the cosmos that explores themes of solitude and mortality. He can be found painting too many cats on the socials as @codyvrosh.
Colleen East is a speculative fiction writer and an artist known for her vibrant use of expressive color and evocative imagery. Raised in the Appalachians, she spent many years traveling hither and yon before finally landing in Portland, Oregon, where she now resides. She is chair of the Hillsboro Chapter of the Willamette Writers, reads tarot, and teaches yoga.
Crystal Smith
Crystal works in acrylic, colored pencil, and graphite. Her works have been featured in gallery showings throughout the western states and are included in private collections in several countries. Her artistic endeavors continue to expand, the latest branching being fore-edge painting on books. She lives and works on the family property with a menagerie of cats, dogs, and horses.
Ellis is a Washington-based author, artist, and poet. He is an illustrator for the sci-fi magazine The Future Fire, and his short story “Elegy for the Nameless Man” was recently nominated for a Pushcart Prize. His greatest artistic achievement, however, is the Dancing Bean Saga he created for his children, who have compiled an enormous body of lore surrounding the natural history of Beans.
Eric L Vargas is a freelance comic artist and illustrator based out of the Pacific Northwest. Eric’s focus is on mecha, sci-fi, cyberpunk, and fantasy art. Current projects include an in-progress comic, Pirates of the Starry Seas, and their webcomic, Traveling Echoes. Former projects include the first volume of Steel Siege for Battlequest Comics, as well as character/creature concept artist work for Rocket Cat Games.
Fran Eisemann is a painter and sculptor. Her sculpture teacher was George Koras, known for his fluid abstract bronze work and for being an apprentice to Jacques Lipchitz. Her work is magical and mythical realism and is sold primarily to private collectors. Right now she has two ongoing projects: a small unicorn in translucent alabaster for a New York client, and a large Kannon-sama sculpture in hinoki cypress for a Zen Buddhist temple in northern Japan.
Geneva Bowers is a Hugo Award–winning illustrator. Her work focuses on atmosphere and magical realism, giving a sense of calm and nostalgia. It is inspired by growing up in Appalachia, caught between glorious nature and geeky interests. She aims to make people smile while showing a piece of how beautiful life can be.

Jessica Evans
Jessica enjoys creating fantasy-inspired stained-glass creations, including wearable art in the form of flower crowns and tiaras.
After John Granacki dropped out of art school to paint, his artwork was first publicly unveiled in San Francisco at Westercon 31 (1979) and then again in Sacramento at Westercon 33. After an apartment fire destroyed his body of work, a 36-year convention hiatus ensued, although he eventually recovered and exhibited locally (Grants Pass, Oregon—chiefly in music shops, nightclubs, coffeehouses, galleries, and his local museum). He ultimately began showing at science fiction conventions again, beginning with the Helsinki Worldcon in 2017, followed by an Orycon, two more Worldcons, a Nasfic, four Norwescons (one virtual), and two Loscons.
John R. Gray III has been showing his artwork at conventions nationally since 1981. He has received numerous awards, including in best fantasy, best color, best use of humor, and most unusual concept. His publishing history includes book and cassette covers, fantasy bookplates, CD-ROM fantasy clip art collections, and various illustrations. His most recently published works include the cover art and interior illustrations for The Dragon, The Damsel, and the Knight, by Bob Brown (Sky Warrior Publishing) and cover art for Sweet Secrets, by Stephanie L. Weippert (TANSTAAFL Press). He is currently working as a freelance commercial artist and as a luthier, building custom autoharps.
Katie is a fantasy artist based in the Pacific Northwest specializing in fantastical creatures with strong roots in our natural world. Her works often depict dragons living in their habitats, from grand scenic vistas to deep forests inspired by the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest and surrounding areas. Other mythical creatures and wildlife make many appearances in her fully detailed paintings. Her main media of choice are watercolor, gouache, and sometimes ink.
Kristen “Kcie” Monk, based in Tacoma, Washington, is an artist and illustrator who specializes in all things fantasy and whimsy. She loves drawing mermaids, witches, and fairies, among other mythical creatures. Her medium of choice is primarily digital art, but she is also very passionate about traditional techniques. Kcie is ambitious and always willing to experiment with mixed media. Her drawings are highly detailed, vibrant and colorful.
