Norwescon Camping Trip July 18-20, 2025, Lake Sylvia State Park, Montesano, WA

The Norwescon Camping Trip is Back!

Join us for a weekend in the woods at the Lake Sylvia State Park group camp site, just north of Montesano, over the weekend of July 18–20. Cost will depend on how many people join us, but typically run $15-20 per person for the weekend.

The fully-shaded primitive site features tent camping for up to 50 people, with picnic tables, fire rings, and a small shelter with a charcoal grill. It has vault toilets, with close access to full bathrooms and showers at the nearby swimming beach. The park includes light hiking and biking trails, fishing with permit, and an area for metal detecting; non-motorized watercraft such as kayaks and paddleboards may be used on the lake. No RVs or trailers are allowed at the group site, and open fires, including the grill, will depend on conditions. Check in on Friday begins at 3pm, and a Discover Pass is not required for camping. The campsite includes room for up to five cars; additional vehicles may park nearby for $10/each/night.

To RSVP, or ask questions, email Todd at campout@norwescon.org.
