The Norwescon Art Show consistently highlights some of the best in fantasy and science-fiction themed artwork of all types. Featuring work by our Artist Guest of Honor plus many regional artists, we delight in bringing the best possible artwork to you.

Michael will demonstrate working with gold and silver leaf on canvas or paper that has been painted or printed to show the accents and highlights that these techniques can bring to your artwork.

Award-winning sculptor Agathon McGeachy will demonstrate the use of simple homemade tools to produce realistic portraits in clay. Use of reference materials will be discussed.

Eric will give a 30-minute presentation of his process, followed by 30 minutes of panel conversation and questions. Feel free to bring a portfolio for review, if time allows.

Camille Meehan

Camille is a planner when it comes to paintings; she front loads the most important tasks so that she can head in the right direction from the beginning. Her latest work is full of dynamic magical unicorns and requires exquisite understanding of horse anatomy, but she is absolutely not an equinologist. So how does she do it? Come to find out!

Ellis will demonstrate the art of pyrography, using a soldering pen with multiple tips and a wood canvas. Come for the art, stay for the pleasant smell of wood smoke.

Jeff will demonstrate his techniques and talk about his steps and process of creating. He will be working with acrylic on canvas.
