We are pleased to announce that our Artist Guest of Honor for Norwescon 36 will be painter, illustrator, graphic designer, Web designer, and comic book painter and designer Lee Moyer!

Happy summer! The annual Norwescon Volunteer Appreciation Picnic went off gangbusters last weekend, and preparations for Norwescon 36 are already well underway! We’re currently taking applications for Game Masters, panelists, and panel ideas.
On Monday, June 25, 2012, we sent an email from publications@norwescon.org regarding a price glitch. This email was sent to individuals who pre-registered for Norwescon 36 (2013) at Norwescon 35. The email is legitimate. Please follow the instructions provided.

As Chair and Vice Chair, Brad and I would like to announce and welcome the Norwescon 36 Executive Team. We have finished our interviews and have hired an excellent team of execs. Norwescon 36 has many changes this year with the new registration system and 501c3 and this team is definitely up to them. Please welcome them and make them feel at home in their new positions. We are now looking to filling out our staff and would love to hear from you about the positions you are interested in for NWC36.

The rumors are true — registration for Norwescon 36 is now open! Look for more details on Norwescon 36 right here in the coming weeks — the rollover to the full Norwescon 36 site is almost here!
Elections were held for the officers of Norwescon 36 (2013) on Saturday May 12th with Keith Johnson, LouAnna Valentine, and Doug Booze on this year’s election committee.
In brief: Your Norwescon 36 Executive Team will be headed by Chair Peggy Stewart and Vice-Chair Brad Nelson, with Sunny Jim Morgan and Pearl Young on the Guest of Honor Selection Committee wrangling more top-notch GOHs for future Norwescons! We are thrilled to announce that Catherine Asaro will be our Writer Guest of Honor for Norwescon 36!

The next Norwescon meeting (March 17) will be your last chance to nominate candidates for the offices of Chairman (Chair) and Vice-Chairman (Vice-Chair) and for the two slots on the GOH Selection Committee (GOH Committee). And it will be your last opportunity to question them!

A change is coming in the way we reserve rooms for Norwescon. It is a significant change for our members but we believe it will help us make more convention rooms available for our members at the cheaper convention rate.
