We’d like your input as we plan our COVID protocols for NWC45, our book club’s selections for December and January, open volunteer positions, and room and suite reservation information from our hotel liaison.
We have several open opportunities to volunteer with the Norwescon Convention Committee as we plan for Norwescon 45. Here are a few, and keep an eye on our Open Volunteer Positions page or come to one of our ConCom planning meetings to find more!
This month: Volunteer with us, open Programming positions, the Norwescon Writers Workshop is open, the Speculative Film Festival is looking for films, Dealers’ Room, Art Show, and Club Tables are accepting applications, Programming is looking for panel ideas, and this month’s book club selection.
This month: Our Artist Guest of Honor, registration is open, applications for the Dealers’ Room, Art Show, and Club Tables are open, an update on our safety procedures, looking for a teen/YA leader, our book club’s October choice, soliciting donations for our Little Free Library, and wear cosplay to a hockey game!
It’s time to open all the things! Well, maybe not _all_ the things, but quite a few. Registration for Norwescon 45 is open, along with applications for the Art Show, Dealers’ Room, and Club Tables!
Pre-registration for Norwescon 45 (April 6-9, 2023) is now open — for a limited time only! For the next four days, through Wednesday, April 20, 2022, we are offering a special convention weekend $55 registration rate for next year.
We at Norwescon would like to extend our congratulations to all the winners of our Masquerade, Art Show, and Single Pattern Contest, and to thank everyone who entered. You all do wonderful work, and we loved being able to see it in person again!

The Norwescon 42 Little Free Library was a great success and will be back for 2020! We are looking for donations: books, magazines, comics, media … we distributed well over a thousand items last year and are anticipating even more demand.

Online preregistration for Norwescon 42 is scheduled to close on Wednesday, April 3rd. As of April 4th online preregistration will no longer be available and day pass/door rates will be published.
