Norwescon 45 Art Show Awards
The Norwescon Art Show is proud to announce this year’s Art Show Award winners. We would like to thank all of our artists for their outstanding contribution to this year’s show.
2021 Endeavour Award Winner Announced
The Endeavour Award for science fiction or fantasy works by writers in the Pacific Northwest during 2021 was awarded April 8 at Norwescon. Erica L. Satifka was announced the winner for her collection of short stories How to Get to Apocalypse and Other Disasters, published by Fairwood Press.
2023 Speculative Film Festival Winners
The 2023 Speculative Film Festival Judges’ Choice award goes to Fetch and La Nueava, with an Honorable Mention to All is Well. The Audience Choice award goes to The Post and The Operator.
2023 Philip K. Dick Award Winner Announced
It was announced on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Norwescon 45 in SeaTac, Washington, that the winner for the distinguished original science fiction paperback published for the first time during 2022 in the U.S.A. is: THE EXTRACTIONIST by Kimberly Unger (Tachyon Publications). Special citation was given to: THE LEGACY OF MOLLY SOUTHBOURNE by Tade Thompson (Tordotcom)
