> Looks like all Thursday night rooms are now gone. What I suggest to people is getting a Friday and Saturday night reservation, and check the hotel web site from time to time, as people cancel they will be added back into our room block.

I have no idea Why 4 other people say one thing and the first & 6th say another.

Both 1st and 6th person still stuck to the story of the first night being at the regular rate , while the rest of the stay is at $123 per night.

Anyways…..I reserved the room…figuring that the first night rate could be ‘fixed’ later on.

The very least, the hotel liason might want to touch base with the reservation department on A) Is the NWC room block really full or not? and B) Check in Wed. march 27th room rate is the NWC rate or the regular rate.

I’ve forwarded your comment on to our hotels@norwescon.org address. Sometimes there are administrative tweaks that need to be made as we approach the 100% mark, which is why we ask people to email our hotel liaison if they run into issues. My guess is that we’ll be able to have you taken care of soon.

I just clicked on the link, to the hotel reservation website. The short version….the website says that the hotel is already booked.

When I call the 1-206-246-8600 reservation number, I get a guy that claims that he has a room in the ‘non-con block’ and that he will sell me the room at the con rate for 3 nights at $123 per night, but the first night will be over $250.

Ummm…bait and switch?

ANd he says that the Con-block is already full.

Something is not adding up right when your posts says the hotel is 86% full, and that was posted on the 12.

So, in less than 24 hours,….all the rooms got booked?
