Norwescon’s Art Show was a hotbed of activity with a small bidding war happening right before close. The sold stamps almost dried out. Our Judges worked hard to decide who should be honored this year. The art quality was some of the best that we have had. Thank You From the NWC35 Chair https://www.norwescon.org/2012/04/10/thank-you-from-the-nwc35-chair/ https://www.norwescon.org/2012/04/10/thank-you-from-the-nwc35-chair/#comments Tue, 10 Apr 2012 16:35:26 +0000 Norwescon Executive Team https://www.norwescon.org/?p=1371 I want to thank everyone who attended Norwescon this year. For the 3rd year in a row we had over 3,000 members. Even with that many people in the hotel, the con seemed to run very smoothly, except for the Sunday “Waterfall in the Cascades” which had nothing to do with us and luckily really only affected the Green Room.

We would love to hear from all of you on what we did right, and what we could improve on. You can send comments to info@norwescon.org, or if you want to contact me directly, chair@norwscon.org.

It has been my honor to be your chairman these last two years, and I hope you all support Peggy Stewart who will be your chair next year.

—Norwescon 35 Chair Shawn Marier

We’re also looking forward to seeing this year’s convention through your eyes! Upload your photos to Flickr and add them to this year’s Norwescon 35 photo group! Our official photographs will start to appear on our Flickr and Facebook accounts in the next few weeks, after our photography crew has had time to sort through the thousands of photos they took over the course of the weekend (not to mention catch up on sleep)!

Thanks from all of us on the Norwescon 35 ConCom to all of you who attended, our volunteers, the pros and panelists, dealers and artists, the hotel, and of course, our wonderful Guests of Honor. We’ll see you again next year for Norwescon 36!
