Children and Teen services recognizes that conventions can be boring for children and some teens. Norwescon provides a place for children, KidKon, and activities for teens in order to allow them to interact with the convention in a way that is appropriate for their interest level.

KidKon is Alive!

Norwescon 27 has a great KidKon planned thanks to our new head of KidKon, Rachel Goldstein, and a staff of awesome volunteers. That is not to say that we can’t use more volunteers.

KidKon will be more than just providing daycare, offering a variety of age-appropriate sf, fantasy, and horror-related activities. We will be accepting kids ages 2 to 12 and giving them a safe and fun start to their life in fandom by offering a smaller con for our smaller congoers.

$5.00 per hour/per child
$3.00 per hour/per child for dealers and volunteers
FREE for parents while volunteering in KidKon, invited guests, and staff
