It’s almost time for this month’s ConCom meeting for NWC47!
Would you like to help plan, organize, and create the Pacific Northwest’s premier science-fiction and fantasy convention? Norwescon is always looking for volunteers, and our monthly Convention Committee planning meetings are a great way to get involved! Come pull back the curtain, meet the masterminds behind the event, and find out where your particular talents can be put to use!
Meeting Details
It’s that time of year again! It’s time to plan the next Norwescon!
Our next meeting is Saturday October 5th, with our new meeting schedule:
- 11 a.m.–1 p.m.: Department breakouts
- 1–1:30 p.m.: Executive meeting (all welcome)
- 1:30–3:30 p.m.: ConCom meeting
- Immediately after: Social
We’re adjusted the meeting times a bit with breakouts first, followed by the Executive meeting, the main ConCom meeting, and then the social. The Zoom link will be open from 1 p.m. onward, and will be posted to the Staff Information page closer to the meeting date.

Conduct
If you are joining us virtually and need to activate your camera or microphone during the meeting, we ask that you respect all of your fellow staff members and refrain from broadcasting inappropriate imagery, symbols, or language. If you need a neutral virtual background, a Norwescon background image is available on our website.
