Norwescon All Year: Discord for Chat, Volunteer to Be Part!
We often hear how the most disappointing thing about Norwescon is that it’s only one weekend a year. But you can keep your Norwescon connections and experiences going all year long!
Interested in keeping up with the people you’ve met at the con? Join our public Discord server! Chat about the con, share your art, writing, and creations, discuss the books you’re reading, movies and shows you’re watching, games you’re playing, music you’re listening to, costumes you’re working on, and whatever else you love. All those post-panel and hallway conversations don’t have to end because we’re not in the same hotel anymore.
For a more hands-on approach, keep an eye on our Volunteers page! Norwescon is always looking for more volunteers to help out, and we have a range of positions available. Some have little work during the year and more at con, some are busy through the year but quiet at con, and some are a little of both. Things will be quiet over the summer, but in the late summer, we’ll be updating the Volunteers page with the dates for our Norwescon 46 planning meetings. Watch for announcements, and see how you can keep Norwescon going strong!
