Calling all Filmmakers

Norwescon will host the Norwescon Speculative Film Fest on April 15–16, 2022. The festival showcases short films and micro short films (under three minutes) that intersect with the speculative fiction genre, including science fiction, fantasy, and horror.

Films selected for the festival will be shown over two nights at Norwescon 44.

Norwescon Speculative Film Fest’s goals include embracing and fostering new voices in speculative fiction, including those of BIPOC, women, and LGBTQ+ creators. The festival will include judges who represent these voices. A fee waiver is available this year for BIPOC directors, allowing these creators to submit their work to the festival at no charge.

To submit your films or for more information on the festival, visit our page on FilmFreeway.
