  1. 3 points. 1) A “premiere” is the first or opening night of a movie or play, therefore Norwescon cannot be the “Premiere Northwest Science Fiction” convention. 2) Trying to pay for my membership, I found your PayPal link broken. 3) The only other payment option was by “cheque”. Since I do not have a British, French or Canadian bank account, the financial institutions I have accounts with only issue “checks” which I think you will find is the standard and accepted term used for personal financial instruments permitting the transfer of specific dollar (not pound or euro) amounts between private parties.

    • Hi Larry,

Thanks for catching the “premiere” typo, that’s been fixed.

We’ve forwarded your note about the PayPal issue to our registration team so that it can be looked into.

And we’ll happily accept checks as well as cheques, though we do have to draw the line at Czechs, as people are not a recognized currency.
